Qualität und Kultur von Teams und Gruppen bewusster gestalten
facilitation * moderation * training
Mein Herz schlägt für Teams, Gruppen und communities, die gemeinsam etwas erreichen wollen.
Achtsam, vertrauensvoll und klar begleite ich Gruppen dabei, das Miteinander und die Zusammenarbeit leichter und angenehmer zu gestalten – ganz im Sinne des Wortes „facilitare“.
„Facilitation“ leitet sich vom französischen Verb „faciliter“ ab, das wiederum vom italienischen „facilitare“: „ermöglichen“, „fördern“ oder „erleichtern“ stammt. Die gemeinsame lateinische Wurzel ist das Adjektiv „facilitis“: was leicht durchführbar bedeutet.
Als Facilitatorin lese ich das Feld der Gruppe: Welche Themen und Fragestellungen sind lebendig? Wie ist die Stimmung und die Atmosphäre? Was ist Intention bzw. Zielsetzung? Was will erreicht werden? Welche Ressourcen und Qualitäten sind vorhanden?
Neben diesen Fragen ist mein Hauptanliegen die Unterstützung und Entwicklung einer achtsamen, klaren und vertrauensvollen Gesprächskultur, die Wertschätzung unserer Unterschiedlichkeit und gelebte Inklusion. Die Form des Kreises, das tiefere Zuhören und das Entschleunigen sind dabei die wichtigsten Eckpfeiler meiner Arbeit und Teil der Kreis-Praxis Council. Je nachdem was es sonst noch braucht, greife ich auf eine Vielzahl von Methoden und Tools zurück:
- Konfliktexploration: Ansätze aus der gewaltfreien Kommunikation und der Council-Praxis
- miteinander entscheiden: soziokratische Konsent-Enscheidung und systemisches Konsensieren
- strukturierte Gesprächsführung: umfassende Moderation, Erstellung einer Agenda, Regeln für eine Gesprächskultur, Art of Hosting
- Verbindungen knüpfen, Vertrauen schaffen: Teambuilding, Council-Praxis

His specialty is the human dimension of organizational development, with special emphasis on the communion at the heart of true communication.)
Way of Council and Community
I am very happy to be invited to Czech Lands again to offer a workshop around the practice of Council, this time with a topic that is very dear to my heart.
I just want to share few of the questions that I live and will go on living regarding how to be with each other in self-organised or collective groups and communtities:
- How can we think and act like a circle?
- How can we share responsibility and leadership amongst each other?
- How to build relations and trust and a sense of belonging?
- How to be with our differences and diversity so we learn to appreciate the richness of experience and wisdom of each of us?
- How to offer a safe space where uncomfortable truths can be spoken so we have ways to be with each other when tensions arise?
Together with my dear Council-friends Han Delissen from Netherlands and Shay Hanien from Israel and with support from Helena Kosková we will tend to those questions in relation to the practice of Council for a 2-days-workshop.

Seit meiner Jugend bin ich in und mit Gruppen am Tun. Ich bin Mit-Initiatorin und -Entwicklerin verschiedener gemeinschaftlicher Projekte: European-Council-Network, Gemeinschafts-Garten „Löwenzahn“, ÖSDCN – Verein zur Förderung von Council und Kreisarbeit“, Wohnprojekt Bikes*n*Rails u.v. m.
Kern meines Wirkens war und ist die Entwicklung einer achtsamen, klaren und vertrauensvollen Gesprächskultur, die Wertschätzung unserer Unterschiedlichkeit und gelebte Inklusion.

about me
Linda Elias (Vienna/Bavaria) *1978, social worker, systemic coach and mother (*2010), living in a community-house at the heart of Vienna. My first contact with Council was during a visionquest in 2004. Picking up the Council-thread 2009, I became a passionate member of the ECN and the regional network ÖSDCN in Bavaria/Austria. I was/am mentored by Katrin Lüth and Marlow Hotchkiss as well as by my peers and circles along the way to become a facilitator, trainer and mentor of Council.
Supporting and being part of community groups, urban gardens, foodcoops and other selforganized projects throughout my life I explore living and thinking like a circle, finding ways to deepen relations and trust as a foundation for truthful communication and sustainable decisionmaking, raising self- and group-awareness and embracing diversity as an answer to the complex and volatile world we continue to live in.
For 20 years I worked as a social worker, mainly with young people with various disadvantages, lately also in a leadership-position. Now I put the practice of Council at the center of my attention and am ready to answer when called.
